Heather did a phenomenal job working with us to sell our home. She had sold a similar model in the neighborhood, and we requested her for her obvious expertise. She walked through our house, and told us what renovations needed to be done to make it absolutely outstanding. She worked with us to hire professionals to finish the basement, install carpets, and upgrade the kitchen countertops. She had the house professionally cleaned and the windows washed, as well. Once the house was ready, she tirelessly promoted it through numerous open houses and follow ups with agents. She advised us on any issues that occurred, and helped us negotiate a reasonable settlement with a buyer. Heather is a true professional who regularly spoke with us throughout the sale process, and tirelessly advocated for us. We highly recommend her for her expertise, patience, professionalism, and genuine concern for our questions. If you hire one Realtor for your house, whether buying or selling, choose Heather.

I've worked with a number of brokers in buying and selling real estate, and Heather was by far the most diligent in every step of the process. She provided a detailed timeline of the tasks that I needed to complete as well as what other contractors and real estate professionals needed to complete so that we could track progress. She even handled an after hours plumbing leak when I was out of town.

Selling a house is typically a stressful event, but Heather’s partnership made it as stress free as possible from start to finish. Heather not only has tremendous knowledge of the market and the entire real estate process, but she has contacts within the industry that she could call on when needed. She truly went over and above our expectations. We met with Heather well in advance of deciding to put our house on the market. We had already decided on a construction home which created a long lead time between our first meeting and the sale of our existing residence. We can not say enough wonderful things about Heather's level of professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond for her clients. She came highly recommended from a friend and we are so thrilled they recommended her to use. She took care of us every step of the way. She is very knowledgable and kept us informed throughout the entire process. She was always available when we needed her. Anyone who uses Heather won't be disappointed!
From the first phone call with Heather to the last signing of our sold home she was an exceptional agent to work with. Heather was always available, always on time, always willing to help. We will recommend her to any person needing a home or selling a home in NOVA. Heather was wonderful in helping us sell our home! She is a top notch professional who clearly enjoys what she does and is fantastic at it. The entire process from start to finish was not stressful at all - Heather managed everything brilliantly (she's a hard worker and took care of every detail so the process was incredibly easy for us). Heather Heppe is a pleasure to work with. She successfully guided us through the purchase of our first single-family home while also helping us close the sale on our condo within two weeks of each other. Heather is very responsive to any and all questions and helped put us at ease during the stressful time of buying and selling. Even though she has a busy schedule, she made us feel as though we were her only clients and always had time for us. She is very friendly and easy going and never seemed to be bothered by the times we would have our toddler along for showings -- even offering to watch him while we toured. She partnered with us from the very start, helping us decide on granite, carpet, and paint colors. Heather planted flowers, hung mirrors and pictures, completely staged the house, coordinated the professional photographers and ran a multitude of errands for us. She offered to cut the grass and help pack up personal items for storage. When a showing would pop up at the last minute she was always quick to offer help in preparing the home. Moving Around Brambleton w/ Heather -
We could not possibly say enough good things about working with Heather Heppe. We happened to connect with her while viewing a house where she was the listing agent. At the time, we were searching for single family homes in the Brambleton area and looking to sell our 1.5 yr old townhouse. We knew right away that Heather was a capable, responsive agent and she continuously proved us right. Initially, we met with her at our townhouse for a walk through and discussion on efforts to launch it onto the market. She had amazing ideas for staging and helped us make a doable list of changes in order to showcase our home. We also hit the ground running, looking for single family homes, and she did not hesitate in showing us every home in the area, within our price range.
Not only did Heather help us sell our townhouse within a week (negotiating through 2 offers) but she also secured us our dream single family home at the same time! She happened to be both the listing and the buying agent for our single family home and we never felt that our buying position was compromised due to this dynamic. Heather did an awesome job negotiating our deals on our behalf and we closed on both homes within 48 hour of each other!

My husband and I were both so impressed with the significant amount of time and effort Heather put in to her job as our realtor through this entire 3-month process. From the time we were initially looking at properties to buy, we could see that Heather was one or two steps ahead of the game. For instance, she would go early to a property to turn on all the lights and make the house look as perfect as possible before coming over to pick us up for the showing. She gave us very sound advice that we found compelling and convincing as we went about trying to find our “dream home”. When we found a home that fit nearly all of our specifications, but not all, Heather knew just what to do to help me overcome my hesitations, and arranged for a final showing just for me alone.
We felt confident we could rely on Heather and her expertise as we embarked on the process of selling our home of 10 years. We were very pleasantly surprised to receive a full price contract on our home the day before we were scheduled to officially go on the market. Heather, in consultation with you I believe, had very wisely priced our home at an extremely competitive price that pushed the envelope for prices in our neighborhood, but yet, based on the quick sale that ensued, was nevertheless quite reasonable.
Heather was a confident and knowledgeable buyer’s agent as well, helping us to negotiate through some potentially difficult situations, even up to the hour before our closing. When a last minute air conditioning malfunction threatened to put a major wrinkle in the closing process, Heather handled the problem in a determined yet professional manner. She kept her calm but did not back down in negotiating a solution with the seller’s agent. Heather’s adept handling of this entire situation was made even more evident when contrasted against that of the other agent.
Through the entire process Heather was cheerful and positive, and all the while nothing but professional. She was always very prompt in answering our emails and text messages, no matter how early in the morning or late in the evening. No question was too trivial for her to spend the time to carefully answer for us. I looked forward to receiving her emails which were usually started with an uplifting comment such as “What a beautiful day it is…” We especially appreciated the extra efforts Heather made on our behalf, including meeting our new neighbor to try to resolve a problem with an adjoining wall on the property.
At the end of the process, we can look back and see how smoothly and pleasantly everything went with Heather representing us. This was our 5th time buying a home, and our 4th time selling one, and we have to say that by far, this real estate journey with Heather Heppe was the best of all our experiences. We will most certainly and without hesitation recommend her to our friends, neighbors and co-workers in the future

Heather Heppe is an absolutely fantastic Realtor. Before we were sure we wanted to list the home, Heather came over and talked to us about all that would be involved. She recommended how to stage the house, what should be painted/stained, and had recommended businesses who could help us with the work. Her dedication from the beginning was impressive, even before we had made a decision to actually list the house. Our house sold on the first day, within hours of listing, because of her expertise, her marketing ideas, and her dedication.
Unfortunately, the first contract fell through--while we were on vacation. Heather called to tell us the bad news, then followed up with her typical response: "I'll take care of it."
